Terms of service

The agreement between you and Dripost. Short where we can be, and specific about the parts people actually ask about.

Last updated 2026-09-21.

Draft. Dripost is in development. This document describes what the product does today and has not yet been reviewed by a lawyer.

The short version

A plain summary. The sections below are the agreement itself.

  • You keep everything you write and upload. You give us permission to store it and publish it where you tell us to, and nothing else.
  • You must be 18 or older, and what you publish has to be yours to publish and legal to publish.
  • AI features help you write. They can be wrong, and you approve everything before it goes out, so you are the author.
  • We publish to a network only when you tell us to. That network's own rules also apply, and a network can refuse or remove a post for reasons outside our control.
  • Paid plans renew until you cancel. Cancel any time in Billing; the refund policy says when we give money back.
  • If we get something wrong, tell us. Our Grievance Officer answers complaints, and nothing here takes away the rights Indian consumer law gives you.

What changed on 2026-09-21: We now ask you to agree to these terms explicitly when you create an account. We have also spelled out what the AI features do and where they can be wrong, that the networks' own terms apply to what you publish, how plans renew and how to cancel, and where a dispute is decided.

Who this agreement is with

Dripost is operated by Rajesh Kumar (sole proprietor), at Whitefield, Bengaluru – 560048, Karnataka, India.

This agreement is between you and us. You accept it by ticking the boxes when you create an account. Under the Indian Contract Act 1872 that tick is what makes it binding, which is why we ask for it in words rather than burying it in a footer.

If you are accepting on behalf of a company or a client, you are confirming that you may bind them, and "you" means them as well as you.

Your account

You must be 18 or older to have an account, and you confirm that when you create one.

Give us details that are true, and keep them current. Your account is yours: keep your password private, and turn on two-factor authentication or a passkey if the account matters to you. You are responsible for what happens under your account, unless it happened because of something we did wrong.

Tell us straight away if you think somebody else is in your account. We email you when an account is used from a country or a browser we have not seen, so you usually will not hear it from us first.

You can close your account yourself at any time in Settings.

What Dripost does

Dripost lets you write social posts, preview them as they will appear, schedule them, get them approved if your team works that way, and publish them to networks you connect.

We build in the open about what exists. The product pages say which features are live and which are still being built, and nothing here promises a feature that is not.

We may change, add or remove features. If we remove something you rely on, and that materially reduces what you are paying for, you may cancel and we will refund the unused part of the period you paid for.

Your content, and who owns it

You own what you create and upload. We claim no ownership of your posts, captions, images or videos.

To run the service you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence, for as long as your account is open, to store, copy, reformat and transmit your content — and to send it to the networks you choose and to the AI provider when you use an AI feature. It is limited to providing the service to you. Under the Copyright Act 1957 that permission is what makes it lawful for us to hold and transmit your work; we do not use it for anything else, and it ends when you delete the content or your account, apart from what may briefly remain in a backup.

You confirm that you have the rights to what you publish, including images, music, footage, brand names and anything featuring other people. Most takedowns and strikes creators get are about music and stock footage, so this is not a formality.

If you think something on Dripost infringes your copyright, write to us with enough detail to find it and we will act on it.

Publishing on your behalf

When you connect a network, you authorise us to act on that account in the ways the permission you granted allows — in practice, publishing the posts you scheduled and reading back how they did.

Each network's own terms apply to what you publish there, alongside these terms. That includes the YouTube Terms of Service for YouTube features, Meta's terms for Instagram, and X's terms for X. You can revoke our access at any time from the network's own settings, and for Google at the Google security settings page.

A network can rate-limit us, change its API, refuse a post, remove a post, or suspend an account, and it does not ask us first. We will show you what happened and why where the network tells us, but those decisions are not ours and we are not responsible for them.

Scheduling is a best effort at the minute you chose. A network outage, an expired connection or a rejected upload can delay or stop a post; we show failures rather than hiding them.

AI features, and their limits

The AI features write and adapt text from what you give them. The text — and, for features that work from a video, the video — is sent to a model provider through OpenRouter, as the privacy policy describes.

AI output can be factually wrong, out of date, off-brand, or inappropriate for your audience. It can invent a statistic or a quote. Nothing it produces is published automatically: you read it, edit it and schedule it, and once you do, you are the author and it is your post.

Do not put confidential information, personal data about other people, or anything you would not show a supplier into an AI feature.

We do not promise that AI output is unique. Two people asking for the same thing can get similar answers.

Working with other people

A workspace can have more than one person in it, with roles that decide what each can do, and posts can require approval before they go out.

You can also send a review link to somebody without an account. That link shows only the posts you attached to it, expires after seven days, and you can revoke it sooner. Anyone holding the link can see those posts, so send it the way you would send anything else confidential.

The workspace owner is responsible for who they let in, and for what those people do.

What you must not do

  • Nothing illegal, and nothing that breaks a network's rules.
  • No spam, no engagement farming, no automated mass posting designed to flood a network.
  • Nothing that infringes somebody's copyright, trade mark or personality rights.
  • No harassment, hate speech, sexual content involving minors, or content that incites violence.
  • No impersonating a person or a business you are not.
  • No attempts to reach other people's accounts or data, to break the service, or to get round a limit on your plan.
  • No scraping, reselling or rebuilding the service, and no using it to train a competing model.

If you break these, we may remove content, suspend publishing, or close the account. Where we can say why, we will.

Plans, prices and payment

Some features need a paid plan. The price you will pay, in your currency, is shown on the pricing page and again before you pay, inclusive of taxes where they apply. Payments are taken by Razorpay; we never see your card or UPI details.

A subscription renews at the end of each period until you cancel. Auto-renewal is by an e-mandate under the Reserve Bank of India's framework for recurring payments: you authorise it once, your bank or card issuer notifies you before each debit, and you can cancel the mandate with them as well as with us. Recurring debits above the RBI's threshold need you to authenticate each time, so a larger renewal may ask for your approval.

If a renewal fails, we will tell you and give you a chance to fix it before anything is paused. We do not delete your content because a payment failed.

We can change prices. An existing subscription keeps its price for the period already paid for, and we will tell you before a change takes effect so you can cancel if you would rather not continue.

We issue a receipt for every payment, and a GST invoice where GST applies.

Cancelling, and getting money back

Cancel any time in Billing. You keep access to the end of the period you have already paid for, and you are not charged again.

When we refund, and how to ask, is set out in the refund policy, which is part of this agreement. Changing plan up or down is covered there too.

Availability

We work to keep Dripost running and to publish on time. We do not promise it will be uninterrupted or error free, and we do not offer a service level guarantee today. If we start offering one, it will be written down, not implied.

We may take the service down for maintenance. Where we can plan it, we will avoid the times people schedule for.

Suspending or ending an account

You can stop using Dripost and delete your account at any time.

We may suspend or end an account that breaks this agreement, puts the service or other people at risk, or is being used unlawfully. Unless the law or the risk stops us, we will tell you why and give you a chance to put it right. If we end a paid account and you were not at fault, we refund the unused part of the period.

When an account ends, so does the licence you gave us, and your content is deleted as the privacy policy describes.

Our responsibility, and its limits

We will provide the service with reasonable skill and care. Beyond that, and to the extent Indian law allows, Dripost is provided as it is, without other warranties.

Our total liability to you for all claims in any twelve-month period is limited to what you paid us in the three months before the claim arose. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for lost profits, lost followers, lost reach or lost business opportunity.

These limits do not apply to anything the law does not allow us to limit — including death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud, or our own wilful misconduct — and they do not take away any right you have as a consumer under the Consumer Protection Act 2019.

You are responsible for what you publish. If somebody brings a claim against us because of content you published through Dripost, or because you broke this agreement, you will cover the reasonable cost of defending it.

If you have a complaint

Tell us first. Most problems are a misunderstanding, and we would rather fix it than argue about it.

Grievance Officer

  • Rajesh Kumar, Grievance Officer
  • Email: rajesh411232@gmail.com (put "Grievance" in the subject)
  • Address: Whitefield, Bengaluru – 560048, Karnataka, India
  • Phone: +91 85278 77979
  • We acknowledge a complaint within 24 hours and aim to resolve it within 15 days. Where a complaint is a consumer complaint, we acknowledge it within 48 hours and resolve it within one month.
  • If you are not satisfied with how we handled personal data, you can complain to the Data Protection Board of India. If your complaint is a consumer one, you can also approach the consumer commission where you live.

Law, and where a dispute is decided

This agreement is governed by the laws of India. The courts at Bengaluru, Karnataka have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute, and both of us submit to them.

If you are a consumer, that does not take away your right to go to the consumer commission where you live. Indian law is clear that a clause in a contract cannot force a consumer out of the consumer forum, and we are not trying to.

If any part of this agreement turns out to be unenforceable, the rest of it still stands.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. If a change matters, we will tell you inside the product before it takes effect and ask you to agree again; the record of what you agreed to names the version and the date, so which text applied is never a guess.

This version is dated 2026-09-21.
